These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the OmaGold marketplace. By creating an account, browsing, buying, or selling on OmaGold, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the service.
Buying on OmaGold
- Prices are shown and charged in Nigerian Naira (NGN).
- An order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
- Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
- Product listings are provided by sellers; while we work to keep the marketplace trustworthy, you should review listings before purchase.
Selling on OmaGold
- Sellers must complete any required verification (KYC) and provide accurate business details.
- Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of their products, and timely fulfilment.
- Payouts are made to a verified bank account, net of applicable platform fees, after the order is completed and any return window has elapsed.
- Prohibited, counterfeit, or unlawful items may not be listed, and may result in removal and account suspension.
Payments
Payments are processed by Paystack. By making a purchase you authorise the charge for the order total, including any applicable taxes and delivery fees shown at checkout.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, uploading malicious content, or using it for fraudulent or unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
Intellectual Property
The OmaGold platform, including its branding and software, is owned by us or our licensors. Sellers retain rights to their own content but grant us the licence needed to display and operate their listings on the marketplace.
Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OmaGold is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the marketplace. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
